Two years in the past they began pondering and one member – the architect Meiri – mentioned that he wanted to build a library for foreign employees. When a collective of Israeli artist varieties was seeking to express itself in the urban setting, it dreamed up theGarden Library. Now open on Saturdays and Sundays in the south Tel Aviv neighborhood of Neve Sha’anan, the place a majority of refugees and international staff stay, the Arteam collective created two outdoor backyard libraries in Levinsky Garden – one for young children, and one for adults.
