Thank goodness PAFA and the Pew Charitable Trusts saved the Dream Garden from being moved to Las Vegas in 1998. Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts has owned and maintained it ever since. Dream Garden is an experimental design of morphologic research on the settlement. At Brooklyn’s Botanical Gardens, go to the cherry blossoms at the first sight of spring, the Rose garden in June, or the Shakespeare garden that includes over eighty vegetation talked about in the Bard’s poems.

The Majestic Dream was an exquisite house that served our 8-man golf group very properly. The back patio is a good feature that lends well to social time. Overall it was a very good expertise and located in a good spot for eating places and access to MB’s “southern” golf courses.

My dream backyard would have a lot of roses, clematis and peonies. They wouldn’t be sad types of roses, clematis, and peonies with only a bloom or two. No, they would be so over laden with blooms that the burden of spring rains bear the blooms to the bottom. Overblown and luxurious, their millions of petals would carpet the bottom. The grass that does coexist is lush, slightly long and does not harbor creeping Charlie, nor quack grass masquerading as its domesticated cousin.
